Terms of Use

Hit VPN: Cook Together is published by SOOTY INVESTMENTS LTD. It preserves Simmeroa’s recipes, private cooking invitations, shared steps, calls, timers and saved meals, with optional network tools.

Cooking with others

Invite only someone you trust. Keep your invitation private. You control camera and microphone access; stop a call or leave a kitchen whenever you need. A partner can independently record what you share. Use the report and block controls for abuse. Do not harass others, send illegal material or misuse invitations.

Network tools

Use the WebSocket tester only with endpoints you own or have permission to test. You remain responsible for the messages, authentication values and exported records you choose to share. Foreground connection logs are bounded and are not a durable archive. Plain ws connections are unencrypted.

The optional VPN requires your consent and iOS’s configuration permission. It uses IKEv2/IPsec for supported IPv4 Internet traffic. Local-network, Apple push-notification and cellular service traffic and iOS’s mandatory exceptions remain outside it. It does not promise anonymity or universal connectivity. Network conditions, endpoint availability and platform limits can prevent a connection; status and errors are displayed. System VPN tunnels are unavailable in iOS Simulator.

AI assistance

AI explanation is optional. Read the metadata preview and OpenAI consent before sending. Generated suggestions can be wrong and do not independently measure a network. Check them against your own logs. Usage allowances protect the shared service; they are not a paid entitlement. Use the content-report action for an unsafe or incorrect answer. Withdrawing consent cancels an active analysis.

Data and access

The app has no purchases or subscriptions. Solo recipes work offline; private kitchens, VPN enrollment and AI need their services to be reachable. You can clear local cooking data or use Delete my data in Settings. An interrupted service deletion can be retried; the app confirms completion after acknowledgment.

Our privacy policy describes data handling. For help or privacy requests, use the support page. The standard Apple license agreement applies to the iOS app. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable law.
